LoveWrapped takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your personal data and files, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
2. The Data We Collect
To provide our services, we collect: • Registration and Content Data: Name(s), email of the contracting party, dates, personal text messages, and couple photographs submitted in the form. • Payment Data: Email and transaction status. Note: We do not have access to your credit card numbers; this information is processed and retained exclusively by Stripe or Mercado Pago.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
The legal bases for processing your data are Contract Performance (providing the requested service) and Consent. We use your information exclusively to: • Generate your personalized retrospective page. • Process your payment and send the access link via email. • Provide technical support.
4. Storage, Hosting, and Sharing with Third Parties
For the service to function optimally and quickly, we operate with essential technological partner integrations: • Image Hosting: The photos you submit are not hosted directly in our text databases. They are sent to specialized media storage providers (such as Imgbb). These images receive randomly generated public URLs (unlisted) so they can render on your retrospective. • Payment Processors: We share the minimum necessary data with Stripe and Mercado Pago to enable billing. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes with third parties.
5. Security and Nature of the Link
We implement cybersecurity best practices. It is vital to understand that your retrospective page operates under the concept of "security by obscurity". This means the page has a complex, unguessable URL, and we do not allow search engines to index it. However, it does not have a password lock. If the link is shared, the recipient will have access to the data and images contained therein.
6. Data Retention
Your text data and image links will be retained for periods corresponding to the purchased plan (1 year or during the operational lifespan of the lifetime plan). After this period, the pages lose access, or the data is deleted from our main database.
7. Your Privacy Rights
You have full control over your data. At any time, you may request: • Access and Confirmation: To know what data we hold about you. • Correction: To adjust incorrect information on your retrospective. • Deletion / Consent Revocation: To request the complete deletion of your Wrapped and the attached images. Warning: Exercising the right to deletion will permanently break the generated link and make it impossible to access the retrospective.
